The team

The Detektor team consists of senior consultants with extensive experience from executive search and advisory as well as management experience from other industries. Below you will find a short presentation of us. 

Tor Kristiansen founded Detektor Executive Search spring 2004 and has 23 years of retained executive search and leadership consulting experience , nationally and internationally. He has assisted a number of industries with his services, yet the main part of his portfolio lies within industry, energy, banking / finance, technology and professional services . Tor also has extensive experience in delivering management audits and assessment of teams and individuals.  Prior to his career in executive recruitment, Tor spent 12 years in the Industry working mostly with energy companies. Tor has a BEng (Hons) degree from University of Stratchclyde , Scotland.

Karl Lyder Alvær has more than 16 years of experience in specialist and executive recruitment in Norway and Scandinavia. He has a Bsc degree in International Marketing from Oslo School of Management , specialized in Relationship Marketing . Karl also has extensive experience in sales, sales training and management, including P&L responsibility . Before Karl joined Detektor he was head of Centric Search & Selection.

Tor Erik Mørk has extensive management and business experience in the energy , finance and power industry. Tor Erik comes from the position as Deputy CEO at  Nordic Asset Management. He has held positions as Head of Trading in E- CO Energi, Staff Director of Hafslund Power Sales and CEO of Oslo Energi AS . He has long experience in business consulting, executive board work , and organizational development. Tor Erik has a BEng (Hons) degree from University of Strathclyde , Scotland, complimented with financial studies at BI.
